Final day of the first Mind, Body and Spirit Fair in Nottingham! Held at the magnificent Wollaton Hall. People were selling their wares, having therapies, etc, among its collections. Including tableaux of stuffed animals and cases of amazing crystals. How surreal. One woman was having a treatment on the balcony overlooking the Great Hall. By an organ!
Bought more crystals, the most unusual being a Shaman Stone. A piece of the Grand Canyon. Will always remember standing on the edge [South Rim] of that amazing place. With Mum holding my ankles! Also bought two sets of cards: 'The Atlantis Tarot' and Diana Cooper's 'Atlantis Oracle Cards'.

These were presents from a loved one. On the left is an silver pendant with three Peridots. The '8' symbolises Infinity. On the right is a silver Celtic Knot ring [with three Crosses], set with Moldavite. This is an increasingly rare gem. Nearly 15 million years ago a meteorite fell in the Moldau River Valley [Czech Republic]. ['Freddy', my Glass Skull, came from that country.] Moldavite's high vibrational energy is a powerful Chakra opener, particularly at the Heart and Crown. Sleeping with Moldavite activates the Dream State. In legend, it is believed Moldavite was the green stone in the Holy Grail. 28 & 29 November 2008 Purchased yet more crystals. This time at a Xmas Market. The most unusual piece was a Verdelite hippo! This particular stone, also called Green Tourmaline or Uvulite, came from Kenya. Another curious piece was a Rose Quartz penguin [above]. He named 'himself' [don't know why] Fergal! Other interesting pieces were an Opalite angel [above left], and a Rose Quartz angel. The former named 'himself' Raphael. The latter named 'herself' Eloa. This angel was supposed to have sprung from Jesus's tears. I also have a Clear Quartz angel called 'Gabriel'. And two much larger angels, the Anglite one is 'Uriel', the Morganite one 'Michael'. 27 November 2008 October 2008 Went to a Mind, Body and Spirit Fair on with my family. It was as interesting - and entertaining - as always. A real mix of the weird and wonderful. Had no treatments done. But had my Aura Photo [my third] taken. The lady doing the 'reading' of it was as perceptive about me as ever! Bought more crystals! My 'star' purchases were a Clear Quartz Skull - have been trying to get one for years... . As a 'pair' to my Rose Quartz one. And also a Clear Quartz 'Angel'. The Skull named 'himself' Francis - don't know why. Nor any the wiser why the Angel called 'himself' Nathaniel. [My Guardian Angel, perhaps?] The Rose Quartz Skull being Rosetta makes sense... . My sister's eldest daughter was with us too, and had great fun on the Treasure Hunt! [We all did.] She's very competitive for an 8 year old.... 
Ordered some Garnets from a company in London. These were found in 1966 by a 'Mudlark'. Someone a bit like a beachcomber, but searches the foreshores of rivers. These were found in a 16th/17th Century layer on the River Thames at Old Swan Stairs in London. At the time they were recorded with the Museum of London. They originated in India or Burma [now Myanmar]. 
My sister gave me a Jade Camel. Not this one, which is a late Tang/early Song Dynasty [10-12th Century]. Mine named 'herself' - [rather unimaginatively I thought] Camella! Back in 1979/1980, when we lived in Hong Kong, we spent a day in China. The then border had just been 'opened up', and we were the first 'outsiders' to visit the city now called Shenzen. My parents bought a seated Jade Buddha, which I now own. 6 September 2008
